Marlie is 9 years old, in the 4th Grade, and donates her time to the Lullabye Foundation. The Lullabye Foundation is in the Business of Creating Good Nights and Sweet Dreams for Kids and their Families. Marlie created Marlie’s Jar and Marlie’s Closet in response to kids she sees who need a little extra help in order to make their dreams come true.
Marlie would like a JAR and a CLOSET set up in every school to help Kids be safe, clean, healthy, accepted, and loved. If you would like to participate please contact Sally Meyer at privateye@iowatelecom.net.
MARLIE’S JAR AND MARLIE’S CLOSET
Marlie would like to have a JAR set out so that grown-ups could put donations in it for Kids’ needs such as dental care, eye care, shoes for sports, musical instruments, school supplies, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, hair brushes, and other things that Kids need.
Marlie would also like a CLOSET set up to store clean, gently used, or new clothes, (including new socks, new underwear, new PJ’s, and new shoes). This CLOSET would also have snowsuits, boots, hats and mittens for Kids who live in colder climates. This CLOSET may also have gently used books and toys to give out to Kids who need them.
